‘Shaukeen’, a remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 hit, will see Lisa Haydon essaying the role of Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend, whom three old men – played by Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra will be seen lusting after.

Lisa Haydon was last seen as the bohemian French waitress in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’. Lisa Haydon had earned phenomenal reviews for her role as Vijay Laxmi in the film. Indian Express reviewer Shubhra Gupta said, “Lisa Haydon nearly walks off with the film in her small role. She doesn’t place a single foot wrong as she strides long and smooth next to the diminutive Kangana.”

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Shaukeen’ is slated for release later this year.
