Los Angeles, Jan 31 (IANS) Actress Jennifer Lawrence will essay Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop, in an upcoming project.
The untitled biopic will be directed by David O. Russell, reports variety.com.
Mangano, who invented the Miracle Mop and Huggable Hangers, is the president of Ingenious Designs and appears regularly on the Home Shopping Network.
Russell, who directed Lawrence in “Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle”, has indicated that he is looking forward to cast the 23-year-old in the movie.
